This time I &#8220;found&#8221; a pair of russian copies made by a company called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ruskeys.net\/\">LELL<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.simmonsmuseum.com\/p\/blog\/lell1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<em>The playing surface is very much like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simmonsmuseum.com\/?area=pads&amp;view=gallery&amp;id=2\">Mark III type<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.simmonsmuseum.com\/p\/blog\/lell2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<em>The surface of the backside has an imitation leather stamping<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.simmonsmuseum.com\/p\/blog\/lell3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n<em>the tom mount  is not Pearl compatible but is similar to the first generation of Dynacord Percuter Pads. The connection is a midi socket<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s funny to imagine how Simmons fought against those copies coming from western countries while beyond the iron fence the eastern countries unobservedly copied everything.
