{"id":665,"date":"2010-12-04T23:48:33","date_gmt":"2010-12-04T23:48:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.simmonsmuseum.com\/?p=665"},"modified":"2010-12-04T23:48:33","modified_gmt":"2010-12-04T23:48:33","slug":"sdsv-making-people-smile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.simmonsmuseum.com\/?p=665","title":{"rendered":"SDSV &#8211; making people smile :-)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>one week after our successful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.drummerforum.de\/forum\/47192-1-e-drummer-forum-treffen-am-27-november-2010-in-langenfeld-viele-bilder\/thread15.html\">electronic drum meeting<\/a> I followed the kind invitation of Marcel Vogelmann (at least Germany&#8217;s craziest collector of Ludwig gear and good buddy of Bill Ludwig II) and exhibited a fully loaded SDSV at <a href=\"http:\/\/rockshop.de\/snews-654-TrommeltageBadenWrttemberg-1.html\">W\u00fcrttemberger Trommeltage<\/a>. Everybody was invited to check the sounds and the feel of this dinosaur. The reactions where absolutely positive but also different: While the young guys (less then 15 years) asked where this &#8220;coolpiece of gear can be ordered&#8221;, there daddies got nostalgic feelings.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.simmonsmuseum.com\/p\/blog\/20101204_exhibition.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some could not believe that they got the opportunity to play a Simmons for the first time (and probably for the last). Even the staff of the local music store raved about that vintage kit.
